Heathyoga Padded Racerback Sports Bra Review: The Cute Workout Bra You Can Actually Work Out In
Some sports bras are built to disappear under a shirt, and some are built to be worn as the shirt. The Heathyoga padded racerback is firmly in the second camp — it's a genuinely pretty bra with a strappy racerback design that's meant to be seen. The question is whether it's all style or if there's actual support underneath the cute.
The answer is a bit of both, leaning support. The padding is sewn-in (not removable, which is a plus in my book) and gives real coverage and a bit of shaping, so there's no awkward "cold gym" situation. The racerback is a multi-strap design that holds everything in place, and the band is wide and secure. For yoga, pilates, lifting and general studio work, it's genuinely supportive and stays put.
For running or high-impact work, it falls short — the support is medium at best, and the padding means there's more to bounce. That's fine, because that's not really what it's for. It's a studio bra and a "wear it as a top" bra, and in that role it's one of the best-looking options at this price.
The strappy back is the whole point — and it's pretty.
The downsides: the padding adds warmth, so it runs a little hot, and the multi-strap back means it takes a moment to get on. Sizing is mostly true but the band runs snug, so size up if you're between. But for the "cute bra I can actually work out in" niche, it's a winner.
Pros
- Sewn-in padding gives coverage and shape
- Pretty strappy back that's meant to be seen
- Supportive enough for studio and low-impact work
- Comfortable band that stays put
Cons
- Not enough support for running
- Padding runs warm
- Multi-strap back is fiddly to put on
- Band runs snug
The cute studio bra done right — pretty enough to wear alone, supportive enough for real movement.
