Avidlove 3-Piece Lace Lingerie Set with Robe Review: The Kimono That Sells the Whole Thing

Here's the thing about three-piece lingerie sets: the robe is usually the part they use to justify the price, and the robe is usually the part that's garbage — a see-through scrap of static-clingy polyester you'd never actually drape over your shoulders. So when the Avidlove set promised a matching lace robe for $22 total, my first thought was that two of the three pieces would be doing all the heavy lifting.

Turns out the robe is the best part. It's a soft, flowy kimono-style piece that hits around mid-thigh and actually looks like something you'd lounge in, not just something that came bundled in the box. The lace trim along the sleeves and hem ties it to the rest of the set without being itchy. I found myself reaching for the robe on its own over a tank top, which is more than I can say for any "matching robe" I've owned.

The bra and panty underneath are fine — a lightly padded lace bra with a bit of lift and a cheeky panty that matches. Neither is going to win awards on its own, but together with the robe the whole set looks cohesive and intentional, which is really the point of a set in the first place. The lace is soft, with the same caveat as most budget lace: hand-wash it, don't snag it.

The robe is genuinely lounge-worthy, not an afterthought.

Fit is the weak spot. The bra runs small in the cup and the panty runs small in general, so sizing up is the safe move, and the whole set skews toward smaller-to-average frames. But if the sizing works for you, this is a lot of lingerie for the money — and a robe you'll actually keep.
